Bodegas Coral Duero, Toro, Spain
R'Sedas Tinto de Toro
We can proudly say that our vineyards are among the oldest in Spain. Los Lastros, planted in 1944 near our winery in El Pego. High concentration and low yield, our grapes produce powerful, well-structured wines with body and color. This is a natural treasure that Coral Duero enjoys. Sustainable agriculture and environmentally responsible winemaking. Let yourself be seduced by the personality of this wine.
Winemaking
Los Lastros grapes are harvested manually and immediately kept in a cold storage at 4°C to preserve their fruit intensity. The harvest undergoes a double selection process, first to hand-select only the best bunches and then to select the highest-quality grapes. Before fermentation, a cold maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine ages for approximately 8 months in French and American oak barrels.
Aging: 10 months in French and American oak barrels.
