Terra00 was born in Vilalba dels Arcs, in the heart of Terra Alta, in the south of Catalonia, with the objective of zero intervention and zero exogenous substances.

The winemaking tradition in TERRA ALTA is millennial. We have evidence of the cultivation of the vine through the Costums d'Orta from the year 1296, and in more contemporary times we have evidence of the cultivation of Vernatxa blanca since the year 1647.
All our wines are made with grapes from our farms. respecting the biological cycles of the vineyard. we limit treatments to those allowed in organic agriculture. therefore, our vineyards are free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and systemics. our wines are not artificially clarified, being made only with the grapes' own yeasts.
The climate in the highlands is Mediterranean, with a clear continental tendency with an average annual rainfall of 400 mm, resulting in a high thermal amplitude. WINTERS are
cold with average temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees. Very hot summers with average temperatures of 23 to 25 degrees.

Morenillo is a nearly-extinct extinct grape indigenous to Terra Alta that produces extremely elegant wines. Similar to Pinot Noir, it is a light-skinned, long-cycle grape that makes bright, fresh, light wines full of flavor and capable of communicating the character of the soil. Deep ruby red, a bit of sediments and haziness, fruity nose of ripe black fruits, berries, cherries. Full Bodied and smooth with fresh acidity and tannins.

On the palate, it's fresh, rustic, and very fruity. A medium-bodied wine with a mineral character and a touch of volatile acidity that provides a refreshing touch.
