Baronne du Chatelard, Mâcon Villages 2020

Chatelard’s philosophy is all about getting the excellence of Terroirs by playing with the quality of our soils, the Nature and a delicate art-work of winemaking. The result is a discerning balance between freshness, elegance and complexity of Gamay and Chardonnay grapes. We want to bring to the fore wines of Beaujolais by the harmony and the aromatic richness of our cuvees.

This traditionally-style dry white Bugundy is fresh, light yellow in color, and medium-bodied. Classic vinification is used, and the wine matures on the fine lees for one year. The Chardonnay comes from a hillside vineyard on stone and clay soils. Pair this fresh and easy-drinking white with boudin blanc.
