Terregaie, (Padova) Veneto, Italy

Salvatore Lovo, together with his wife Rita Ferasin and their daughter Silvia, manages the family-owned Terregaie winery in Vo', located at the western end of the Euganian Hills—a region renowned for its long-standing winemaking heritage. The modern and innovative winery is dedicated to producing around 100,000 bottles of high-quality Prosecco, meticulously grown on the picturesque and highly esteemed hillsides of the Padova province. Situated at the core of Veneto’s wine-producing region, the Terre Gaie Winery and the Lovo family have been nurturing these vineyards for generations.

The winery, established in 2004, stands on the Lovo and Ferasin farmlands, which have been within the family since the 18th century. Spanning about 50 hectares (120 acres) of southwest-facing vineyards, the estate mainly cultivates indigenous and classic grape varieties. The winemaking process at Terregaie is a harmonious blend of modern technology and traditional wisdom, reflective of the family's deep-rooted expertise in the art of winemaking.
