Gestione Fattorie - Sardinia, Mirto del Contadino Rosso - (Myrtle Berry)
Name any root, fruit, or plant, and there's a good chance Italians make a drink from it. In this case it's the myrtle evergreen shrub, a sacred tree in folklore and mythology whose leaves, berries and flowers are used for essential oils, folk medicine, and religious applications. There are two types of Mirto commonly available in Corsica and Sardinia: one is a white version made with the leaves, and the other is Mirto Rosso made with shrub's blue berries. Translated as Myrtle of the farmer, this Mirto Rosso is a small-batch traditional preparation made on the island of Sardinia from berries steeped in neutral spirit. Just another one of Italy's great libations to explore- 30% ABV

Amaro Lugana Nord
Amaro Laguna Nord is inspired by the glorious liqueur-making tradition of Venice, a crossroads between East and West, where the Rialto market offered the highest quality spices, herbs and roots. It adopts the rules of ancient Venetian liqueur making codified in the Capitulary of the Apothecaries of 1258 , according to which it was necessary to swear to use only well-preserved, high-quality botanicals and to respect a rigorous preparation method that also followed astral influences. The composition of infusions, extracts and distillates of 42 botanicals gives life to the perfect balance between the aromatic component of oriental spices, the balsamic notes of Alpine herbs , the fragrance of Mediterranean fruits and botanicals and, characterising, the bitter note of the prince of herbs of the Venice lagoon, the Marine Absinthe or Santonico. The recipe calls for 45 days of infusions of the 54 different botanicals, followed by blending and 180 days of refinement before bottling. It releases aromas of Sea Wormwood, Bitter Orange and Star Anise, on the palate still the bitterness of Absinthe with citrus and sweet spices. Long finish with a persistent vegetal freshness of Gentian root and Artichoke. To be savored neat , with ice or in very Venetian spritz . Bitter liqueur 0.70 L 32% Vol.
Armagnac de Montal, VS
With hints of fresh fruits and flowers, the young Armagnac De Montal VS offers many layers of aromas and flavors. Swirl and enjoy it in a balloon glass, on the rocks, or as a mixer in cocktails. Use in cooking to liven up a sauce, flame poultry, or deglaze a pan. Use in desserts or to macerate fruit. Pair with richly prepared food like game or foie gras, or with cheese or chocolate at the end of a meal. The Bas-Armagnac region, with the best vineyards for Armagnac, houses hilly landscapes alternating with dense woods. The mild and humid climate, together with the sunny autumn, ensures Armagnac de Montal's subtle flavors and aromas. The grape varieties used are Folle Blanche, Ugni-Blanc, Bacco, and Colombard. The wine is distilled immediately after harvesting so that maximum aroma can be retained. Armagnac de Montal still uses a copper still or "large organ" that enables vapors to rise. Aging takes place in white oak barrels in an unusually long aging process giving Armagnac De Montal its golden color and aromas of vanilla, lilac, and especially plum
Armagnac de Montal, VSOP
A delightfully delicate Armagnac that is juicy and redolent of sweet stone fruit, apple, orange peel and brown sugar emphasized by warm baking spices and brown butter. "Its color becomes deeper and the tannin from the woods not being wholly oxidized, there results vigorous armagnacs and the fruity aromas very pleasant; lush, golden amber tone, perfect purity; vinous, woodsy, earthy, waxy coconut-like aromas are keenly pronounced; assertive aromatic melange and caramelly mid palate." - Spirit Journal, F. Paul Pacult
